Martin is a partner with particular expertise in banking and finance, disputes, EU law and regulatory matters. He has advised clients in different sectors, mainly energy & utilities, real estate and pharma sector, on a wide array of corporate and commercial transactions with special emphasis on the financing aspects. He has advised both creditors and debtors in distressed situations and in insolvency proceedings.

- advising both lenders and borrowers on financing facilities, refinancings and other financial arrangements

- advising various companies in the energy sector on mergers, corporate restructuring, development and construction of power plants, public procurement issues and export credit insurance
- advising international developers on development and financing of residential and office property development
- advising an international investment bank in connection with restructuring proceedings claims and numerous other investors and undertakings in connection with various matters relating to restructuring
- advising a leading international real estate developer in connection with the development of a new logistics facility and its subsequent disposal to a real estate investment fund
- advising a group of private equity investors on a disposal of a heat producing plant and pipeline
- advising a leading international pharmaceuticals group on disposal of one of their major manufacturing plants in the CEE
