Lukáš has advised many local and international clients on various M&A projects, as well as infrastructure, energy, financing, corporate, contractual and litigation matters.

In addition to regularly representing clients in civil court proceedings, he focuses on energy law, gambling law, investment aid and partly also on taxation.

Selected experience

advised the government in connection with the preparation, arrangement, negotiation and implementation of Jaguar Land Rover’s huge investment into a new car production facility in a strategic park in Nitra. The total investment amounts to €1.4 billion and will result in the creation of approx. 3,000 new jobs
advising a leading gas supplier, in connection with the establishment of a full function joint venture with a leading Czech provider of energy efficiency services, including the due diligence of companies contributed to the JV
advising one of the largest private equity firms in Central and Eastern Europe in connection with its acquisition of a leading operator in the food and industrial goods retail sector in Slovakia
advising a global leader in the online gaming in connection with the gambling regulations and licencing regime in Slovakia
advising an international corporate and investment bank in court proceedings with respect to third party claims challenging the validity of its USD 19 million bank guarantees and preliminary injunctions preventing the bank from payment
advising a major player in the nuclear industry in the development of the nuclear power plant in Jaslovské Bohunice
advising a Slovak electric utility company in connection with the organization of a consortium for a EUR 221 million investment project for the development of “Smart Grid” technology and infrastructure in Slovakia and the Czech Republic that is being partially subsidized by a grant from the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency of the EU (INEA) as a project of common interest in the Smart Grid category
providing a leading producer of heating and hot water solutions with comprehensive legal advice in connection with its EUR 120 million greenfield investment project in Slovakia for the construction of a production plant focused on the production of heat pumps
