She also has substantial data protection knowledge, covering GDPR compliance as well as sector-specific data processing.
Selected experience
- advised a leading investment bank in emerging Europe, on its acquisition of a majority stake in the operator of one of the Bratislava shopping centres, from a leading global developer and operator of premium retail assets. The €450 million deal is the largest ever real estate acquisition in the Slovak market
- providing a leading producer of heating and hot water solutions with comprehensive legal advice in connection with its EUR 120 million greenfield investment project in Slovakia for the construction of a production plant focused on the production of heat pumps
- advising one of the biggest social networks on matters related to operation of a social network in the Slovak Republic and on content review and local law compliance matters as well as in connection with requests addressed by local authorities
- advising one of the world’s largest meat producers, on its acquisition of Slovak meat processing company
- representation of one of the shareholders in a Q&A and polling app based in Slovakia, on the sale of its shares to a global IT company
- advising the co-founder of a Slovak company focused on the development of a flying car prototype, on the entry and exit of investors and changes to company’s PE structure
- representing developers in connection with the development of the National Football Stadium in Bratislava
- advising clients from a broad range of sectors on data protection matters and GDPR implementation, including sector-specific data processing, international data transfers, processing of personal data in sensitive contexts and cybersecurity matters
