Martin is an Associate advising clients in different sectors, including energy & utilities, insurance and pharmaceuticals, on a wide array of corporate and commercial transactions. He has experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, construction and development, financing, operations and management of various types of commercial property.

Selected Experience

  • advising an international pharmaceutical company in relation to the sale of its European division focusing on development, manufacture and commercialisation of generic drugs; advice on the set-up of new global business partnerships in the area of development, manufacture and sale of drug substances
  • advising a leading international building materials group on acquisition of a portfolio of certain Holcim Lafarge assets
  • advising a group of heat-producing companies on restructuring of their investments and subsequent exit
  • advising on disposal of a nation-wide radio broadcasting network to one of leading multi-sector broadcasting operators
  • advising a leading international developer in relation to the construction and development of its logistic centres in Slovakia, including in particular matters related to its construction and lease arrangements, ownership structures and regulatory and operation permits
  • advising institutional investors and professional asset managers on leasing and management of commercial real estate portfolios, including logistic parks and administrative buildings
  • regulatory advice in the insurance/financial sector, as well as advising insurance companies on various strategic and corporate matters
